United States Pharmacopoeia
United States Pharmacopoeia reagents are buffered eluents, test solutions and colour matching fluids prepared to USP chapters. Pharmaceutical QC, HPLC method and stability laboratories use them to run USP monograph tests with solutions of known, consistent composition.
The 148 Reagecon listings include potassium phosphate buffered eluents at pH 5.50, 6.50 and 6.80 for chromatography mobile phases, and the A to T Colour Solution Matching Fluid ampoule set used in USP colour of solution tests.
Choose an eluent by the pH and phosphate salts named in your method, and check whether a monobasic or mixed monobasic and dibasic buffer is specified.
