What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device. It lets the site remember something between one page and the next — that you are signed in, which currency you chose, what you agreed to. Some are essential; others exist only to measure or to advertise, and those need your permission first under the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.

Strictly necessary
These make the site work: staying signed in, keeping your basket, taking a payment, and remembering the currency and delivery country you chose. They need no consent and cannot be switched off. Your basket and quote list are not cookies at all — they are kept in your browser's local storage, stay on your device, and are never sent to us until you check out or request a quote.
Analytics
We set no analytics cookies at present. If we add a service to understand which pages and products are used, it will load only for visitors who have switched Analytics on, and this page will list its cookies by name before it does.
Marketing
We set no marketing or advertising cookies at present. The same rule applies: none will be set without your permission, and any we add will be listed here first.
Payments
Card payments are taken by Revolut in a secure window over our checkout. While that window is open, Revolut may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and 3-D Secure authentication. Those are strictly necessary for the payment you asked for, are set by Revolut and not by us, and are covered by Revolut's cookie policy. Your card details never reach our servers.
Your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you signing in or checking out.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we set, this page is updated and the version date at the top changes. A change that matters — a new category of cookie — asks every visitor to choose again rather than carrying an old answer over to a question it was not given for.
