Swabs for hygiene monitoring let a site test surfaces for target organisms without sending samples to an outside laboratory. Food manufacturers, dairies and environmental monitoring teams use them as part of routine cleaning verification.

The twelve GVS listings include SwabCheck tests for Listeria, coliforms and general hygiene, each 25 per pack, and a SwabKit for yeast and mould supplied 30 per pack. Each test is organism-specific, so a monitoring plan can be built from the tests that match the risks on a given line.

Use the Listeria and coliform tests where your hazard analysis calls for them, the hygiene swab as a general cleaning check and the yeast and mould kit where spoilage organisms are the concern.
