Cryogenic covers the freezing containers, racks and workstation accessories used to store and handle samples at very low temperatures. Biobanks, cell line repositories and research laboratories that freeze cells, tissue or nucleic acids use this equipment alongside their cryogenic tubes.

Forty-four GVS products are listed. Listings shown include a cell freezing container for 12 × 2 mL cryogenic vials and cryotube workstation racks in blue, red and green polypropylene. Each rack measures 208 × 93 × 25 mm, holds up to 50 round-bottom or self-standing cryotubes in a 10 × 5 layout, carries an alphanumeric index, opens with one hand through a locking system and stacks for storage.

Choose racks by the number of tubes handled at one time and use the colours to separate projects or sample types. The freezing container holds 12 vials for the freezing step before transfer to long-term storage. The matching cryogenic tubes in 1 mL and 2 mL sizes are listed separately.
