Conductivity Standards
Conductivity Standards are solutions of known conductivity used to calibrate and verify conductivity meters and cells. Water, environmental, pharmaceutical and process laboratories use them to keep readings traceable and repeatable.
With more than ninety Reagecon listings, this is one of the larger sections of our Electrochemistry range. Values include the widely used 12,880 µS/cm standard at 25°C and higher-conductivity solutions such as 111,800 µS/cm at 25°C, with many values available in more than one pack size. Standards are specified at 25°C, the usual reference temperature for conductivity measurement.
Choose a standard whose value sits close to the conductivity of your samples, since calibration is most reliable near the point of use. Laboratories covering a wide span often keep two or three values. For total dissolved solids work, see the separate Conductivity TDS section. Ask for a quotation on multi-pack quantities.
