Beverage standards support the quality control tests run on carbonated and bottled drinks. Soft drink, brewing and contract laboratories use this section for calibration and verification of dissolved gas measurements.

Seven Reagecon products are listed, built around carbon dioxide analysis: CO₂ standards at 1 g/l and 2 g/l for calibrating or checking a dissolved carbon dioxide analyser, together with a carbon dioxide release agent, available in more than one pack size, used in methods that liberate CO₂ from the sample before measurement.

Select a standard concentration that sits close to the carbonation level of the products you test, and keep the release agent matched to the method you follow. For sugar content and density work on drinks, the Wine section holds sucrose (Brix) and ethanol density standards that are equally useful for other beverages.
