Turbidity Standards

Turbidity Standards are reference suspensions of known NTU value used to calibrate and verify turbidimeters and nephelometers. Drinking water, wastewater, beverage and environmental laboratories rely on them to keep turbidity results consistent.

The section lists 137 Reagecon standards. Classic formazin standards such as 1000 NTU are joined by the Turbiform stabilised formazin range, which starts at 0 NTU and 0.1 NTU and is designed for a longer working life than freshly prepared formazin. Many values are listed in more than one pack size.

Pick values that bracket your sample range: a low standard near 0 NTU for drinking water work and higher values for raw water or effluent. Check that the standard type is accepted by your instrument manufacturer, then verify at the same points on a regular schedule. Request a quotation for a complete calibration set.
