Membrane Dispenser

A Membrane Dispenser feeds sterile gridded membranes one at a time onto a filter holder, removing the need for forceps. High-throughput water microbiology laboratories use a dispenser to keep membrane handling fast and aseptic.

One GVS item is listed: a polycarbonate membrane dispenser supplied with its power supply. It is designed to work with the GVS Speed Pack stacks of 47 mm gridded nitrocellulose discs and the sterile polypropylene cups listed under cup for speedpack.

Consider a dispenser when a laboratory filters enough samples each day that manual membrane transfer becomes a bottleneck or a contamination risk.
