Filtration Columns

Filtration columns in this section are cappless spin columns used to clear cell debris from lysates during nucleic acid or protein sample preparation. Molecular biology, diagnostics and kit-manufacturing laboratories spin crude lysate through them before binding or further purification.

GVS supplies six variants: 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL lysis-filtration columns, each in bulk packs of 500 and in sterile packs of 100 (1.5 mL) or 50 (2.0 mL). The cappless design keeps the column compact for use with standard microcentrifuge tubes.

Choose the column volume to match the lysate volume you process, and the sterile packs where the downstream application demands it.
