Nitrogen Evaporator

A nitrogen evaporator concentrates or dries down solvent extracts under a gentle stream of nitrogen, a standard sample preparation step before HPLC, LC-MS or GC analysis in environmental, food and pharmaceutical laboratories.

Two GVS nitrogen evaporators are listed. The 96-well plate nitrogen evaporator is designed for high-throughput work where extracts are collected in microplates, typically after plate-based sample clean-up. The intelligent water bath nitrogen evaporator handles tubes and vials, with the heated bath speeding evaporation of less volatile solvents.

Choose the plate format when your downstream method uses microplate injection, and the water bath model for tube-based workflows or larger extract volumes. Both connect to a nitrogen supply you already have in the lab. Request a quotation or ask us which format suits your method.
