Soil Testing
Soil Testing reagents are extraction solutions, stock reagents and matrix-matched standards for analysing nutrients in soil. Agricultural testing laboratories, agronomy services and research stations use them to prepare and calibrate routine soil fertility methods.
The 27 Reagecon listings include ammonium fluoride EDTA stock reagent, calcium chloride stock solution, buffer masking reagents, and a boron standard prepared in extraction reagent so that the calibration matrix matches the extracted samples. Stock solutions are supplied at a strength that can be diluted to working concentration according to the method.
Begin with the extraction method your laboratory follows and select the matching extractant and stock reagents, then add standards prepared in the same extraction matrix for calibration. Laboratories measuring soil pH will also need buffers from pH Buffer Solutions under Electrochemistry. Request a quotation for a method's full reagent set.
