PAH Standards

PAH standards are calibration solutions of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons used in environmental, food and petrochemical laboratories running GC-MS or HPLC methods. They provide the known concentrations needed to build calibration curves and verify instrument response for PAH determinations.

Two Reagecon products are listed: a single compound standard of 3-Hydroxybenzo[a]pyrene at 50 µg/mL in toluene, and a five compound PAH mix in hexane:acetone for multi-analyte work. Both belong to the Organics family of chromatography reference solutions, next to the PAH Internal Standards page.

Single compound standards suit method development, spike recovery checks and confirmation of one analyte, while mixes are the practical route to a multi-point calibration.
