Tangential Flow Filters

Tangential flow filters pass feed across the membrane surface rather than straight through it, so solids and large molecules are retained in a circulating stream while filtrate passes. Bioprocess development, cell harvest and protein concentration work use TFF for concentration, diafiltration and clarification.

GVS offers 184 modules in this section. Typical listings are mPES (modified polyethersulfone) TFF units in 0.8 mm format at 0.1 µm and 0.2 µm, fitted with 4 mm Luer taper female and male connections, each sold individually. The range runs across several module sizes and ratings for different process volumes.

Match the pore size to the task, with 0.1 µm and 0.2 µm ratings suited to clarification and cell separation, then size the module to feed volume and the flow rate your pump can deliver.
