ST-C18

ST-C18 columns are packed with Vintage Chrom Vintage Star C18, a 3.5 µm reversed-phase material on a 100 Å pore. Within the HPLC Columns range they serve laboratories that want shorter run times than a 5 µm column without moving to sub-2 µm UHPLC hardware.

Twenty columns are listed in two lengths and two internal diameters: 50 x 4 mm and 50 x 4.6 mm for rapid screening and high-throughput assays, and 125 x 4 mm and 125 x 4.6 mm when resolution of a complex mixture is the goal. All share the same C18 chemistry, so a method can move between lengths with predictable retention.

A 3.5 µm C18 on 100 Å silica is the general-purpose workhorse for small-molecule pharmaceutical assays, impurity profiling and environmental screening on conventional HPLC systems.
