Quality Range

Reagecon's Quality Range covers total inorganic carbon (TIC) standards used to calibrate and check carbon analysers in water treatment, pharmaceutical and environmental testing laboratories. These are general-purpose solutions rather than the instrument-matched standards found in the neighbouring Instrument Specific Range.

The listings include TIC standards at 100 mg/L, 200 mg/L, 1000 mg/L and 10,000 mg/L (ppm), giving a spread from low-level verification through to concentrated stock that can be diluted for multi-point calibration curves. Because inorganic carbon must be measured or removed before organic carbon is reported, a reliable TIC standard underpins accurate TOC results on most analysers.

Selecting the right concentration depends on the working range of your instrument and whether you prefer ready-to-use levels or a single stock for dilution. Laboratories running both TOC and TIC determinations often pair these with the organic carbon standards elsewhere in the Total Organic / Inorganic Carbon category.
