Ptfe Disc Membrane

A PTFE disc membrane is a chemically resistant filter disc used for aggressive solvents, gases and air sampling, where cellulose or nylon would not hold up. Air monitoring and analytical laboratories use PTFE disc membranes for particulate collection and solvent filtration.

Seven GVS listings include 37 mm discs at 1.0 µm and at 2.0 µm without a support ring, a 46.2 mm PTFE on polypropylene disc at 2.0 µm with a 6 mm support, and 47 mm discs at 0.5 µm, in packs of 25 to 100.

For air sampling cassettes, choose the 37 mm or 46.2 mm formats and consider whether a support ring is needed by your holder; for solvent filtration, 47 mm at 0.5 µm suits most funnels. Lancetech Limited can quote additional PTFE disc membrane sizes from GVS on request.
