PSP-PAC
PSP-PAC gathers the Vintage Chrom Psep PAC HPLC columns, a polar bonded phase in the Psep family. Analysts needing a selectivity between bare silica and reversed-phase alkyl columns use PAC-type phases for polar and moderately polar compounds in normal-phase or aqueous-organic eluents.
Forty listings are offered on 85 Å silica in 5 µm and 10 µm particle sizes, with sample formats of 125 × 4 mm and 125 × 4.6 mm. As a polar phase, the PAC column retains by hydrogen bonding and dipole interactions rather than hydrophobicity, which makes it a useful companion to the Psep ODS and C8 columns when a method needs an orthogonal separation.
Trial the PAC column when polar analytes are unretained on reversed-phase or when silica gives poor reproducibility. Choose 5 µm for analytical resolution and 10 µm for loading. Request a Psep PAC quotation from Lancetech Limited.
