PP Disc Membrane

A PP disc membrane is a polypropylene filter disc chosen for broad compatibility with solvents, acids and bases. Analytical chemists use polypropylene disc membranes for prefiltration and clarification of aggressive liquids ahead of chromatography.

Eleven GVS listings include 25 mm discs at 0.45 µm in packs of 100, 142 mm discs at 0.45 µm and 1.2 µm in packs of 25, and a 25 mm MBPP disc at 1.2 µm, so both small-format and large-batch filtration are covered.

Use 0.45 µm where fine clarification is needed and 1.2 µm as a prefilter for heavily loaded samples; pick 142 mm for high-volume holders and 25 mm for syringe-type or small holders. Lancetech Limited can quote other polypropylene disc formats from GVS.
