Petrochemical Vapour Standards
Petrochemical Vapour Standards are calibration standards for vapour pressure instruments following ASTM D5191. Refinery, pipeline and fuel inspection laboratories use them to verify the vapour pressure apparatus before testing petroleum products.
Three Reagecon listings are shown, each a vapour pressure calibration standard supplied as a two compound mix and referenced to D5191. The listings differ by pack size, letting a laboratory match purchase quantity to how often verification is performed and how many instruments are in service.
Use the standard at the frequency your quality system sets for instrument verification, and record the result against the value stated with the standard. Laboratories that also test gasoline composition will find related mixes under Petrochemical Gas Calibration Standards and Petrochemical Benzene Calibration Standards. Ask for a quotation if you need a different vapour pressure level.
