Pcte Disc Membrane

A PCTE disc membrane is a polycarbonate track-etched filter with a smooth, flat surface, ideal when captured particles or cells must be examined by microscopy. Air monitoring, water analysis and cell biology laboratories use PCTE disc membranes for this reason.

The eight GVS listings range from a 13 mm disc at 0.1 µm intended for water samples and a 25 mm thicker-format disc at 0.2 µm, through to a 32.35 mm disc at 12.0 µm and a 293 mm disc at 0.08 µm, with packs of 25 or 100 depending on size.

Choose the pore size to the particle or cell you want to hold on the surface, with sub-micron grades for fine particulate and 12.0 µm for larger cells, and match the diameter to your holder. Lancetech Limited can quote further PCTE disc membrane sizes from GVS.
