MV-PH
MV-PH lists the Vintage Chrom Maverick PH phenyl HPLC columns. Pharmaceutical and natural-product chemists use phenyl phases to separate aromatic compounds, positional isomers and unsaturated molecules that alkyl columns struggle to resolve.
The 94 listings share 100 Å silica with phenyl bonding in 3 µm, 5 µm and 10 µm particle sizes, offered in 125 mm lengths with 4 mm or 4.6 mm internal diameters. Phenyl ligands add pi-pi interactions to the usual hydrophobic retention, giving a selectivity that complements the Maverick C18, C8 and C4 columns and often changes elution order for aromatic analytes.
