LightWave is the GVS range of western blotting substrates used to visualise proteins after antibody binding on a membrane. Life science, biochemistry and biopharmaceutical research laboratories use these substrates in routine immunoblotting.

Six listings cover two formulations. LightWave Plus western blotting substrate is the standard option, available in 10 ml and 250 ml packs, while LightWave Max is the high sensitivity substrate, offered in 10 ml and 100 ml packs. The smaller volumes allow a laboratory to trial a substrate before committing to the larger pack.

Choose LightWave Plus for abundant targets and everyday blots, and LightWave Max where the protein of interest is present at low levels or the antibody signal is weak.
