Inoculation Loop
An Inoculation Loop transfers a measured volume of culture or sample onto agar for streaking and plating. Clinical, food and water microbiology laboratories use disposable loops to avoid flaming and cross-contamination between samples.
The 48 GVS listings are 1 µl polystyrene loops in natural colour, gamma sterilised. Packaging options range from single peel packs to zip-lock packs of 5, 10 or 20 pieces, supplied in dispenser boxes and cartons so a laboratory can choose how many loops are exposed each time a pack is opened.
