GF Disc Membrane

A GF disc membrane is a glass fibre filter disc typically chosen for prefiltration and suspended solids work, ahead of a finer membrane or on its own. Environmental and water analysis laboratories use GF disc membranes routinely for this kind of sample preparation.

Four GVS listings sit in this section: 1.0 µm glass fibre discs in 42 mm, 102 mm and 257 mm diameters, each in packs of 100, together with a 132 mm nylon disc at 0.45 µm in packs of 50 that is grouped here alongside them.

Choose the 1.0 µm glass fibre grade when you need to remove coarse particulate before HPLC sample filtration or membrane filtration, and select the diameter to suit your holder. Lancetech Limited can quote other glass fibre disc formats from GVS on request.
