Centrifuge Bottle

Centrifuge Bottle listings cover large-volume conical bottles for spinning down cell cultures, precipitates and bulk samples. Bioprocess, protein purification and cell banking laboratories use them when a 50 mL tube is too small for the batch.

Eight GVS bottles are listed, in 225 mL, 250 mL and 500 mL sizes. All are conical, green coded, sterile and DNase/RNase-free, and bag packed, with a maximum rated RCF of 7500 × g or 6000 × g depending on the bottle. Pack sizes are 48 for the 225 mL and 250 mL bottles and 36 for the 500 mL.

Check the rated RCF against the speed your rotor will run, and choose the volume to match the culture or sample batch rather than the largest bottle available.
