Cartridge

The Cartridge section holds pleated filter cartridges that sit inside a stainless steel or polypropylene housing for liquid and gas filtration at process scale. Biopharmaceutical and other process manufacturers specify them for clarification, bioburden control and sterile filtration.

GVS supplies the 751 listings. Typical items are pleated PES cartridges at 0.1 µm, 0.22 µm and 0.45 µm, in 10 inch and 30 inch lengths with a 69 mm outer diameter, 222 or 226 fin end adaptors, polypropylene or stainless steel reinforced cores and EPDM or silicone seals, in sterilising grade or general purpose versions.

Specify a cartridge by matching the end adaptor and length to the housing, the seal material to the process fluid and the grade to the duty: sterilising grade for final filtration, general purpose for pre-filtration. Matching housings are listed in the bioprocessing range. Lancetech Limited can quote cartridges with their housings on request.
