European Pharmacopoeia (EP)
The European Pharmacopoeia (EP) is the reference text for medicine quality in Europe, and its chemical reference substances (CRS) are established by the EDQM in Strasbourg for use with monograph tests.
Lancetech Limited lists just over three thousand EP certified reference standards, each a CRS as named in the pharmacopoeia. Entries range from Acarbose CRS and Abacavir for peak identification CRS to 7-aminodesacetoxycephalosporanic acid CRS, 4-D-Ser-goserelin CRS and 1,4-sorbitan CRS, covering active substances, impurities and peak identification mixtures.
Pharmaceutical QC and development laboratories use these standards for identification, assay and related substances testing against EP monographs, and for system suitability in chromatographic methods. Search the listing by the exact CRS name given in the monograph to confirm you have the right material for your test. Quotations for EP reference standards can be requested through the product pages.
