Reagents & Standards is the catch-all section of General Lab for prepared aqueous solutions used across routine analysis. Quality control, teaching, environmental and clinical laboratories draw on it for buffers, calibration solutions and general-purpose reagents.

The 111 Reagecon listings range from buffers such as pH 2.5 acetate buffer solution at 25°C to graded standards like acetone in water at 0.1%, 0.5% and 0.75% w/w, which suit calibration and verification of methods that measure low-level solvents. When a method specifies a concentration, choose the matching listing rather than diluting a stronger solution yourself, as this removes a source of error.
