Atomic Absorption Multi Element

Atomic Absorption Multi Element standards calibrate an AAS instrument for several metals from one solution. Environmental, water and contract laboratories running flame or furnace atomic absorption use them to avoid preparing separate single element calibrations.

Four Reagecon multi element standards are listed: a 13 element standard at 10 µg/mL (10 ppm) and at 100 µg/mL (100 ppm), both in 2-5% nitric acid, a 14 element standard at 100 µg/mL in 2% nitric acid, and a 9 element standard in 2-5% nitric acid.

Match the element list to your method and the concentration to the top of your calibration range, then dilute as required; the nitric acid matrix suits most acid-digested samples.
