WoodSafe® is a renewable alternative to fossil-based hazardous waste bins. Made from 80% renewable residual waste from the forest, containing > 40% wood fibre, > 40% PP made from regrind and/or bio-PP, < 20% from fossile plastics. WoodSafe® is based on a patented biocomposite optimized to replace a wide range of polymers keeping a very high tensile strength. The used polymer features a good formability, durability and flexibility. T benefits of wood fiber are its strength, its renewable raw material and the low CO2-footprint (approx. 66% less CO2 compared to containers made from virgin PP). Additionally, the raw materials are mainly sourced locally to minimize transport distances. WoodSafe® hazardous waste containers are made from an optimized blend of wood fibres and polymers with the aim of meeting the performance requirements of disposal containers while minimizing the climate impact at the same time. A life cycle assessment in accordance with ISO 14040/114044 is available. MOQ = 1 carton.
