Vacuum Pumps
Vacuum pumps provide the suction that drives solvents through SPE manifolds, filtration units and similar bench apparatus. Laboratories without a central vacuum line, or wanting a dedicated source at the sample preparation bench, use a compact pump of this kind.
The section currently lists one GVS unit: an adjustable oil-free diaphragm vacuum pump with a working range of 0.01 to 0.085 MPa and a 90 W motor, supplied with a waste reservoir that catches liquid pulled through the manifold before it reaches the pump. Being oil-free, it avoids oil mist and the maintenance that comes with it.
The adjustable vacuum lets the user set a gentle flow for slow SPE loading or a stronger pull for washing and drying. It pairs naturally with the 12 and 24 port vacuum manifolds in the same chromatography consumables range. If you need a different capacity or a specific pump specification, Lancetech Limited can source and quote it on request.
