NAPP-CN lists the Vintage Chrom Nappa Cyano HPLC columns. Analysts developing pharmaceutical, pesticide and forensic methods use cyano columns for their distinct selectivity and their ability to run in either reversed-phase or normal-phase mode.

All 54 listings are on 100 Å silica with cyanopropyl bonding, available in 3 µm, 5 µm and 10 µm particle sizes and in 125 mm lengths with 4 mm or 4.6 mm internal diameters. Under aqueous conditions the cyano phase retains much less than the Nappa C18(2), which suits very hydrophobic compounds; under non-aqueous conditions it behaves as a moderately polar normal-phase packing.
