Environmental Surface KIT

An Environmental Surface KIT collects microbial samples from surfaces in food production areas, cleanrooms and healthcare settings. Hygiene teams and QA microbiologists use these kits to monitor cleaning effectiveness and track contamination sources.

Each of the 14 GVS kits combines a 10 ml transport tube with a foam swab, packed 50 per pack. Transport solutions in the range include saline, PBS and buffered peptone, and some versions have the swab attached to the cap so the sample goes straight into the tube.

Choose the solution to match your downstream method: buffered peptone when samples go on to enrichment, PBS or saline for direct plating or rapid tests. These kits complement the SwabCheck swabs and microbial count plates in the GVS microbiology range. Ask Lancetech Limited for a quotation on regular supply.
