Pvdf Sheet Membrane

PVDF sheet membranes are polyvinylidene fluoride filters supplied in flat sheets for blotting, transfer and custom-cut filtration. Protein laboratories use a PVDF sheet membrane for transfer work, while others cut it to fit holders and venting devices.

Four GVS hydrophobic sheets are listed: 0.22 µm and 0.45 µm pore sizes, each in a 70 x 84 mm cut in packs of ten and a 150 x 150 mm cut in packs of five, giving a small and a large format at each rating.

Choose 0.22 µm for finer retention and 0.45 µm for general transfer work, then pick the sheet closest to your gel or device to avoid waste. Lancetech Limited can quote hydrophilic or other PVDF sheet formats from GVS if the hydrophobic grades listed here do not suit.
