Pete Sheet Membrane

A PETE sheet membrane is a polyester track-etched filter supplied as a small rectangular sheet, used where a defined pore size and a thin support are required in a custom device. Cell biology and particle analysis laboratories use PETE sheet membranes in this way.

One GVS listing is held here: an 8.0 µm PETE sheet at 19 x 42 mm in packs of 100. It sits alongside the PCTE sheet membrane range, which offers the related polycarbonate track-etched polymer in 25 x 80 mm cuts and finer pore sizes.

Choose PETE over PCTE when your solvent or assay conditions favour polyester, and the 8.0 µm grade where larger cells or particles are to be held on the surface. Lancetech Limited can quote further polyester track-etched sheet formats from GVS on request.
