The 68 listings use 125 Å silica with an amino bonding, available in 5 µm and 10 µm particle sizes and in formats such as 125 × 4.6 mm and 125 × 3.9 mm. An amino column can be run in HILIC mode with high-organic mobile phases for carbohydrates, in normal-phase mode as a basic alternative to silica, or as a weak anion exchanger for acidic analytes.

Pick particle size according to the resolution required and the pressure your pump can deliver, and condition the column thoroughly when switching between modes.
