Cell and Tissue Culture Flask

Cell and Tissue Culture Flask covers vented culture flasks with an ultra-low adsorption surface for suspension work and other applications where cells should not attach to the plastic. Research and biotech laboratories growing non-adherent lines use them in place of a TC-treated flask.

One GVS flask is listed: a 250 mL flask with an ultra-low adsorption surface and vent cap, DNase/RNase-free and non-pyrogenic, supplied singly.

For standard adherent culture, the TC-treated flasks in the Cell Culture Unit section, available in 25 cm² and 75 cm² with seal or vent caps, are the usual choice, and the Cell G flasks offer a surface-treated option from 25 mL to 600 mL. Use this low-adsorption flask when attachment would interfere with the culture rather than help it.
