Screw Cap Micro Tubes

Screw cap micro tubes replace the snap lid of a standard microtube with a threaded cap, and they are chosen by laboratories that store, freeze or move small sample volumes between sites.

Two GVS tubes are listed. Both are moulded in polypropylene with a self-standing base and a natural-colour screw cap, and both come 100 to a pack. The 1.5 ml size covers the usual aliquot volumes, while the 2 ml size gives extra headroom for larger aliquots. The self-standing base means tubes can be filled and capped on the bench without a rack.
