MCE Sheet Membrane

MCE sheet membranes are mixed cellulose ester filters supplied as flat sheets rather than discs, for laboratories that cut their own formats or need a large blotting area. Research and protein laboratories use an MCE sheet membrane where a standard disc is too small.

Three GVS sheets are listed: 0.22 µm HY-grade membranes in 20 x 20 cm and 30 x 50 cm sizes, both in packs of five, and a white 0.45 µm sheet at 13 x 13 inches in packs of twenty.

Choose 0.22 µm where fine retention or transfer resolution is required and 0.45 µm for general filtration or blotting. Sheets can be cut to the dimensions of your holder or transfer apparatus. Lancetech Limited supplies these GVS sheets and can quote other MCE sheet formats on request.
