Sealing Films

Sealing films close the top of a microplate to limit evaporation and cross-well contamination, and molecular biology, screening and sample storage laboratories use them on PCR, qPCR and deep well plates alike.

Five GVS films are listed. For 96 well 0.2 ml PCR plates there is a natural type A film in non-sterile and sterile versions, 100 to a bag and 10 bags per case. A film for 96 well qPCR plates, non-sterile, is packed the same way. Adhesive sealing films for deep well plates come 500 to a pack for storage and extraction work.

Match the film to the plate type first, then decide whether a sterile film is needed for your assay. Pierceable silicone mats for collection plates are listed under Sealing Mats. Case quantities can be quoted on request.
