SB-DL

SB-DL columns are the diol-bonded option in the Vintage Chrom part of the HPLC Columns range. The Vintage Sorb Diol phase is a polar, hydroxyl-rich surface that chromatographers use for normal-phase and aqueous normal-phase separations where bare silica is too aggressive.

The 28 listings share a 10 µm particle size and a 125 mm length. Both 4 mm and 4.6 mm internal diameters are offered, and each comes with a 60 Å or 100 Å pore, giving four combinations per bore to cover small polar molecules and somewhat larger analytes.

Diol columns are often the answer when sugars, glycols or other polar compounds need retention that reversed-phase cannot provide, and they behave more predictably than unbonded silica with basic compounds. Choose the pore to suit analyte size and the bore to match your flow rate. Ask Lancetech Limited for a quotation on any SB-DL column.
