ICP Multi Element Interference Standards
ICP Multi Element Interference Standards are used to check how strongly common matrix and spectral interferents affect the elements you report on ICP-OES and ICP-MS. Method developers and laboratories validating or verifying interference corrections use them during setup and periodic checks.
Four Reagecon interference standards are listed: a 5 element standard in 2-5% nitric acid, a 6 element standard in 3% nitric acid, and two 7 element standards in 5% nitric acid. Each is formulated as an ICP and ICP-MS multi element standard for interference checking.
Select the standard whose elements correspond to the interferents present in your typical samples, and run it alongside your calibration to confirm corrections are working. Calibration, tuning and verification standards are listed in their own ICP sections. Lancetech Limited can quote interference standards on request.
