Funnels

Funnels in this section are sterile 47 mm analytical funnels with a gridded membrane pre-fitted. Water microbiology laboratories use them for membrane filtration of potable, process and environmental water before incubation.

All six GVS listings come 50 per pack, with white membranes carrying a black grid or black membranes carrying a white grid. Pore sizes of 0.45 µm and 0.2 µm are offered, and some packs are individually bagged for sites that need extra protection between the store and the bench.

Use 0.45 µm for standard coliform and heterotrophic counts and 0.2 µm where smaller organisms must be retained; choose the membrane colour that gives the clearest contrast with the colonies you expect. These funnels fit the GVS manifolds listed nearby. Lancetech Limited can quote case quantities.
