Disk Filter
A disk filter is a small in-line filtration unit with a flat membrane disc sealed in a plastic body, used for small-volume liquid filtration or point-of-use protection on bioprocess lines. Process development and fill-finish teams use them where a full capsule would be oversized.
Two GVS units are listed: a 0.45 µm hydrophilic PES general purpose disk filter with a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch stepped hose barb connection, and a 0.1 µm hydrophilic PES sterilising grade unit with Luer connections, supplied in a sterile pack.
Choose the 0.45 µm barb version for clarification of small liquid volumes on tubing, and the 0.1 µm Luer version where a sterile, syringe-compatible connection is needed. For larger throughput the capsule and cartridge sections of the bioprocessing range take over. Lancetech Limited can quote additional disk filter variants on request.
