384-Well Collection Plates

384-Well Collection Plates give high-density collection for screening and small-volume assay workflows. Drug discovery, genomics and high-throughput laboratories use them to capture filtrates or hold transferred liquids in the 384 format.

The three GVS plates listed are a 120 µL U-bottom plate in packs of 20, a 220 µL U-bottom plate in packs of 10 and a 240 µL V-bottom plate in packs of 10.

Working volume is the first decision, since each well must hold the collected volume with room to spare. The bottom shape then follows the downstream step: a V bottom for complete recovery of tiny volumes by pipette, a U bottom where contents will be mixed or read in place.
