Petri Dishes
Petri Dishes are the everyday plates for culturing microorganisms from water, food and clinical samples. Microbiology laboratories of every size use them for pour plates, spread plates and membrane incubation.
The 33 GVS listings include 60 mm, 90 mm and 150 mm diameters in 14 mm to 16 mm heights, with single-compartment designs and either three or eight vents. Aseptic and sterile grades are both offered, and case sizes run from 220 pieces for the 150 mm dish to 1,200 for the 60 mm size.
Standard 90 mm dishes cover most plating work; 60 mm saves media and incubator space, while 150 mm suits large membrane or screening plates. Note that some case packs are listed for Europe only. Lancetech Limited can quote the Petri dishes together with GVS culture media and inoculation loops.
