NAPP-SI presents the Vintage Chrom Nappa Silica normal-phase HPLC columns. Chemists separating lipids, isomers and synthetic intermediates in non-aqueous solvents rely on bare silica for polarity-based retention that reversed-phase columns cannot replicate.

Fifty-four listings are supplied on unbonded 100 Å silica in 3 µm, 5 µm and 10 µm particle sizes, with formats such as 125 × 4 mm and 125 × 4.6 mm. Because the Nappa bonded phases share this silica base, the silica column serves as the reference point when working out how a bonded ligand changes selectivity. It can also be operated in HILIC mode with aqueous-organic eluents.
