TLC plates & sheets are the pre-coated stationary phases for thin layer chromatography, used for reaction monitoring, identity checks and purity screening. Synthesis, pharmaceutical QC, food and teaching laboratories choose this format when a result is needed in minutes rather than a full HPLC run.

Representative products are POLYGRAM sheets CEL 300, a cellulose layer on a flexible sheet backing, in 4 x 8 cm packs of 50, 20 x 20 cm packs of 25 and a 5 x 20 cm UV254 version with fluorescent indicator for viewing spots under UV light. The range extends to other layer types and formats.

Select by layer type first, with cellulose suited to polar and hydrophilic compounds, then by whether you need a UV indicator and which size fits your developing chamber.
