Syringe filters
Syringe filters clarify small liquid samples before injection into HPLC, GC and LC-MS systems, protecting columns and instruments from particulate. Every chromatography laboratory uses syringe filters as the last step of sample preparation.
All 143 listings are Macherey-Nagel CHROMAFIL syringe filters. Typical examples are the MV-45/25 and MV-20/25 units with a cellulose mixed ester membrane at 0.45 µm and 0.2 µm in a 25 mm housing, available in packs of 100 or as BIGbox packs of 400, with other membrane types across the range.
Choose the membrane for compatibility with your solvent and analyte, 0.45 µm for routine HPLC samples and 0.2 µm for UHPLC or where sterility is a concern, and 25 mm housings for sample volumes of a few millilitres. Lancetech Limited supplies CHROMAFIL to UK laboratories and quotes on bulk packs.
