Petrochemical Benzene Calibration Standards
Petrochemical Benzene Calibration Standards are prepared mixtures for calibrating instruments that measure benzene and related aromatics in gasoline. Refinery, fuel distribution and independent petroleum testing laboratories use them when reporting against fuel specifications.
Five Reagecon standards are currently listed, supplied as gasoline calibration standards in petroleum ether. Two compound and three compound mixes are available, with the two compound mix offered in more than one pack size. Petroleum ether serves as the solvent for each mix, and the compound content is stated on the product.
Choose between the two and three compound mixes according to the analytes your method reports, and check the compound list against your calibration table. Laboratories calibrating for a wider gasoline component profile should also look at the Petrochemical Gas Calibration Standards section.
